VOLUNTEERING AT AIRPORT WEST FC
The Airport West Football Club has introduced mandatory volunteer hours for Season 2012 across Junior Families and Senior Players. The purpose of this is to stop the declining number of volunteers at the Club and help spread the load amongst the loyal group of helpers, while also highlighting the fact that participating is fun and challenging.
Volunteering is crucial to the development and operation of the Club but is also a tremendous social opportunity for individuals and families to meet new people and feel an incredible bond with the Club community. You also have the chance to learn new skills and undertake roles which you may never have done before.
Typically on-field and match day roles are filled very quickly, but it is behind the scenes where most of the action and hard work is put in. If there is an area where you enjoy, there is probably a position available within our Football Club.
The Club is run by Volunteers, and will continue to be run by Volunteers. So it is time for you to become involved and see the results for YOUR Football Club and yourselves as individuals or families.
